Wait!!! I'm Still Here!!

Hello!!!! 

I am back in the swing of things after some time off and travel. But to be totally honest, one of the reasons I don't take my outfits pics a lot lately is that my son has taken to smudging my mirror daily. Daily!!! So to take a picture I have to Windex my mirror right beforehand. So, I am lazy. And I just don't take them. 

Today I was at Anthropologie and the mirror was clean and the lighting was good, so BAM! My High Times stripys with a home state shout out tank. Good times. 

Flannel + Herringbone

I have 2 pair of these Skinny Will pants in Giant Herringbone (eBay deals, I'm not totally insane!) and I wear them all the time! They are so cozy, so not workout-y, so they are kinda like my jeans. Right?? Love the pockets too. 

Runnin' The Bases

I snagged these Black Grape/Swan Baserunners last night at the store!! And they only cost $10! Well, not exactly. But I had a pair of Groove pants hemmed last week and when I tried them on one leg was an inch shorter than the other one. And since they are sold out of all size 10 black Groove pants (it's a crisis!) they just gave me $98 towards any pant. So now I am as cozy as a Rulu bug in a rug. And those these aren't the color I wanted initially, I do adore this one and I'm super happy. 

I just read that a Lulu outlet just opened up in Camarillo- how am I just now hearing about this!?! Not that I think the outlets are great. I haven't seen much there that I'd ever want. But fun to check out! Have any of you been there?  Who knows, maybe it's a good one!

My Almost Boxing (Day) Match

I knew that this year my local store was going to really go all out for Boxing Day. Multiple employees had told me, so I was ready to burn thru some gift cards and Christmas cash at 9 am when they opened up this morning. I found regular priced items that I adored, as well as the Bark Berry Baserunner pants. I tried on the pants, even thought they were a size up, and really liked them! Being the last pair of that color I knew that they were going to be marked down. So I asked a manager if they would be.
NOTE: This manager has not been very nice to me in the past. Not really sure why.
So, she says "No, these are the most popular style and they wont be marked down soon."
Bummer.
I get in line with my mom and as I am waiting I see her with those very pants. Hmmmmm. Where is she going with those?
Sure enough, she marked them down. And hung them on the sale rack. And didn't tell me. I walked over to look and see what she'd marked them at after I paid. I didn't buy them, even thought I really wanted to. How Mean!!!! She'd rather be rude and unkind to a customer AND loose a sale? Wow. Maybe she had a crappy Christmas.
In other news, I bought the new Strap It Like It's Hot bra, in black, and I LOVE it! Holds me in loads better than the All Sport or the Energy. I think it's my new favorite.
And I maybe picked up the & GO 'Til Dawn dress. Just to see!!!! And obsess over because it is amazing. I sized up to a 12, as the 10 was tight in the bust on me. It is truly beautiful. Such a flattering shape, and perfect for so many things!!!!

Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas!!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!! I am finally an adult, meaning I look forward to GIVING gifts instead of receiving them- I know. It's a real breakthrough. Also, I'm saving my $$$ for Boxing Day craziness tomorrow. I'm hearing this Boxing Day is gonna be bigger than Black Friday! 

Weekend High Times.

I get scared wearing these Silver Fox High Times- I'm so worried I'm gonna wreck them! But I will not live in fear. So here I am wearing them with my Aviator Nation hoody and some layered tanks.

We are in full Christmas mode at our house, so white pants seemed snow-like! They remind me of the birch trees that were in my old neighborhood. Ahhhhh, bring on the gingerbread, caroling, and candy cane everything!!!

Uggs, flannel, and a high rise waistband. Who is more comfy than ME!?

I have my High Times on today. This pique fabric is a pill-fest, but I have a sweater stone and that helps me de-crap them every few weeks. 

Also, these Patagonia Fjord flannels are the bestest. I have 4!!!! Hope you all are staying cozy today. I am!
