Let's Get High

I picked up the High Times pants in Coco Piqué this last week, and this is day 3 of my obsession. Love. Love the length, love the texture (cozy, not hot), and love the rise! If you are like me in wishing that the Will/Wunder pants were a little shorter, these are for you. I am 5-8, and I'm not a fan of lots of extra fabric at my ankles.

Favorite Color of 2014?

I love Cadet Blue. I have a handful of items in this color, and they go with everything! If I were to rename it, it would be called Slim Whale. Or Dreamboy Blue. 

Anyway. Also wearing another non-bright item, my Mueted Mauve Crb. It was one of my first Lululemon purchases, and it's the softest tank I own! 

I went to my local store's Black Friday, and I was not wowed. Just another rack of Astro pants!?!? But I went in today to pick up some pants I had hemmed, and scored two 105 Singlets for $19 each! They also had the merino leg warmers for $29, but I didn't want to have sweaty calves for fashion's sake. It's Southern California, and I overheat wearing my Ugg slippers. 

I am a Brat.

Ok, I was head to toe Lulu today. Skinny Grooves, Crb under a Heart Opener Tank, and my new Fluffed Vest. And neon birks!! 

FYI I bought the Straight Up pants over the weekend, and it is taking all of my will power not to rip the tags off NOW! They are wonderful! Flattering back seam of the Grooves, slightly less skinny leg than Wills, and thin and high waistband. Try them on!!

More Vest! That's what you guys wanted, right?

Ok. Cannot get enough of this vest. Wore it over a Black Swan CRB, Gap tank, with Skinny Wills in Bordeaux. 

Shout out to Mer, the mega speedster! She's kind of amazing. 

In-vested.

I ripped the tags off of this one today! It was overcast and a teeny bit chilly, so I "needed" to. Layered it over a crb, Splendid Henley, and some Anthro Pilcro cropped jeans. Love love love. 

RUN for this Vest!

I was on the hunt for the perfect vest. I needed thin and warm, with some stretch for a good and slim fit. I tried on every Patagonia vest yesterday. And while some folks may find a good one for them, I struck out. Too tight, too loose, no give, ect. 

Then, I went into Lolé today. Again, no winners! Although I do want to go back to try some of their knitwear on. The colors were so pretty! I have no idea how their pants fit, but it's worth a shot. 

Lastly, I went to Lulu. The new Fluffed Up vests were in, and I tried one on. I am in love. Perfect! Just enough give, slim and flattering lines, simple and NO color blocking! I have the Deep Zin Fluff something vest from last year, and the accent colors kinda bug me. Same thing with the Rebel Runner. 

In conclusion, if you are looking for the Unicorn vest of your life, I just found it. 

Also, I got black. The Boom Juice is beautiful, but one at the store already had some stains showing. So I opted for practical for once in my life! 

Zebra Legs

Today I busted out my Parallel stripe Runday crops and (finally!) my Magenta Scoopneck Swiftly! I've been holding onto that Swiftly for months. I just love a really saturated pink. It pairs almost too well with my Nike Pegasus. I'm not a fan of the matchy matchy, but oh well. 

I went into the store this week, but didn't try anything on. I don't "need" anything, and after taking a month off from shopping, I'm feeling very happy with what I have. I also gave a few things away, which felt awesome. I'd encourage you all to make a pile of non-precious items and find new homes for them. Share the love!
