Mer-th-day!!!

Today is Mer's birthday! Please wish her a happy day full of sweat wicking fun and Luon love! 

I was on a little vaca this week with my fam, and snapped a pic in the hotel of one of my outfits. Ride On crops with a crb and $2 Gap tank. 

I stopped at Lulu in Carlsbad a few nights ago. Very interesting. They had some good markdowns, but nothing for me. The girl in the dressing room was openly disappointed that nothing worked for me! Sorry, Charlie. I don't think anyone will be buying those Tie on Harem trainwrecks. 

Big Decisions.

I bought the Water Bound hoody today, and I'm trying to decide if I should keep it. I have the Run in the Sun pullover from a couple of years ago, but I'm kind of over the gathered chest and ruffles. And I love that the newer style has a simpler design. I like the less busy look. 

What should I do??? Can I rationalize keeping both? These are big time problems. 

Feelin' Groovy.

So it's been crazy hot here, and I took a major leap forward in life and bought shorts. SHORTS. And not just any shorts. Beachscape Groovy shorts. They are so beautiful! The pattern is surprisingly flattering, and the fabric is INSaINEly comfortable. I love them. I wore them on a hike with my family and they were awesome. Not too short, not too tight. Juuuuuuust right. 

P. S. I have a few lulu items that stink no matter what! Washed hot, hung in the sunshine all day, they still reek. What do you all use to clean your workout wear? I've been using Method liquid. It's not cutting it for the really bad stuff. 

I'm Melting

Its been so hot here the past few days!! I know that the heat is getting to me when I dare to bare my legs. Buying shorts was a thought that ran thru my mind this morning. Something is wrong!! Normally I only wear crops, even in the summer. But 95 degrees makes you reevaluate. 

I'm wearing my Tall Pacesetter skirt and Multi stripe (can't remember the real name) CRB. I can't imagine how short the regular length skirt would be on me!! Sheesh.

Saturday New Shoes

When Mer was out here visiting I was obsessed with her Nike Pegasus shoes! They were so pink and I love the umbrè coloration.  So. I found some on 6pm (the most dangerous website on the planet!! They steal all my money.) and I am in love. 

I am wearing my WAFS tank, which might be my favorite lulu item of all time. Also, my Skinny Groove crops and a $2 gap tank. 

Having shoes that scream HELLO when you walk in a room is the best. 

I no like the matchymatchy.

I got ready for class and totally by mistake I was matching from head to toe! It was all Cadet and Pop Orange. I had to take off my headband. It was just too much. I don't know why, but I love unexpected color combinations, so too much repetition is not fun for me. I love on What Not to Wear when they talk about colors that "go together". I hardly ever wear items that truly match. 

Anyway. 

I wore my WAFS Inspires, and I just love these crops. They are thin but not see thru, and the color is not crazy but also not boring black. I wish I would have gotten them in Plum too! Also have my Power Y in Pop Orange under my Cadet Swiftly Tank. And tho these Nikes are pretty, by the end of warm-ups my arches are KILLING me! I need to get some new shoes. At least, that's what I'm telling myself.
