Too much of a Good Thing?
So I bought the Star Runner Halfzip in Plum/inkwell Hyperstripe online, and I love love the color. I really wanted the Run Full Tilt pullover, but my store didn't have my size, and the 8 was too tight for comfort. I was all set to rip the tags off of the half zip when my store suddenly had a size 12 on markdown. I tried it on, and while the 10 would have been perfect, this is still a good fit. So now I have 2 shirts in the same fabric, with slightly different purposes. I love the pullover as a nice but technical shirt to wear with jeans, and te Halfzip for the beach, walks, and everyday craziness. The bust seam on this one has been criticized, but I think that it almost helps minimize my mega boobs. And I love the kangaroo pocket.

If you are only keeping one, pick the full tilt. But I love love the half zip of the star runner. So torn! I had both in line the other day (both black) and last minute decided against the star runner. Now I'm kinda regretting, but that's a large chunk of cash to drop!
ReplyDeleteI would keep the full tilt and return the half zip. If the half zip did not have all of the excessive details such as the lace, seams and ruffles, I would say keep it. My opinion is that it is really busy and you will get ready to eBay it before the cool season is out!
ReplyDeleteI love my technical long sleeves to have a half zip but the back of the star runner pullover is waaaaaay too busy for me, particularly in the plum.
ReplyDeletei am the same as mer w - LOL except i did end up getting both - I know i will use them for running in cooler weather. the details on the half zip are maybe not as distracting to me since i have it in black. it's a gorgeous color you have on and you would def get use out of both - if you are only keep one i think the full tilt in this color is nicer b/c it is not as busy - the outfit looks great though!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the full tilt pullover. I have it in 3 colors, that's how much I love it!
