Yes, I have Gratitude.
So I had every intention of disliking this version of the GW, as my sis had one a couple of years ago and it did nothing for me. BUT. But. I got mine Wednesday, and I tore those tags off fast! It's so so comfy and it looks great with WUs and jeans. I have worn it everyday since I got it. And I fell asleep in it last night! I love the lining, the collar, the discrete logo placement, and the price is reasonable. The charcoal is very easy to wear, and I think it will wash nicely. I haven't heard a lot love for this GW, but I would try one on before you decide against it. The hemline flaring out flatters my body type, and it's a very versatile piece. And you can't complain about resale value! These are pretty much gold.

I seem to be the same size as you on top, 8 or 10...even 12 since I'm busty like you.
ReplyDeleteWhat size is your GW?
Thanks!
Hi! I'm a 36DD and a 10 was perfect. The arms are fitted, which look very flattering with the more drapey body. Hope you can find one!
DeleteSo you stayed TTS, huh. I sized down as most of the reviews said it looks frumpy at regular size. I'm an 8 in tops so I managed to snag the 6 in deep zin. Hopefully, it works out!?!? I'm getting it on Tuesday.
DeleteYours looks nice from what I can see. Did you find the snap button threads at the front obvious and distracting?
I did stay TTS, but only because I need space in the bust area. But if you have a more petite frame I can see that you could size down. I was happy that the snaps didn't pull! That's always the case for me. I can see the stitches from the snaps, but I like the look of it. It seems more Anthropologie than Lulu. And lucky you for finding a deep zin! That was also on my order but it was canceled.
DeleteI know, I saw in your previous post that your zin was cancelled. It may pop up again.
DeleteI'm not chesty but I've got a derriere!
You know, I missed the upload completely. I stayed up for about 10 mins past the usual upload time and was too tired to wait it out. When I got up the next morning, sold out! I checked back the next day and whoop, there it was...Deep Zinfindel, size 6. I snatched it up and prayed for a delivery confirmation. It worked. Now, I just hope this wrap works with me.
Love your blog.
Did your snaps seem secure? The one I received today seemed like the snaps would come off when I unsnapped the wrap
ReplyDeleteHi! The snaps seemed secure, but I take care when I unsnap them. I'm not going to undo them like Adidas track pants! And I will reinforce them if they seem loose. I have had to do that with lots of clothing items, cause I'd rather take the time when it's loose to fix it than have to find a matching button!
DeleteMy Zinfandel GW arrived today, and I was prepared not to like it on me. But, surprise! I love it. The flare at the bottom looks great on my shape, too, so I'm not even really cinching the bottom. And the neckline is so cute. I'm glad I took a chance on it.
ReplyDeleteMy store still had a full size run yesterday of Deep Zin. I can angel you one from Colorado. Just let me know. Love your blog! DG
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet of you!! I actually just dragged my poor kids into my local store, and they have them there too. And I MAY have just purchased a new flannel from patagonia this week, so my budget is long gone. Thanks for the blog love!
DeleteI had the same experience. I was not interested at all looking at photos online but tried in store and bought one...I didn't like DZ on me and took home heathered inkwell. I sized down from a 6 to a 4. The arms were snug in both sizes and the 4 looked better around the bottom for me. I wish the stitching wasn't visible on the outside for the snaps, but it is sooo cozy I never want to take it off!
ReplyDeleteI just got mine and love it! I am a 34ddd and usually wear a 10 so that's what I ordered. Fits great through bust, a bit loose through waiste and hips but I like the fit. I will be able to layer under it.
